On our VE day special I spoke with Jane Lewis from Surrey Heritage. Jane is a Heritage Assistant and also a genealogist. We spoke about tracing your family history, and Jane told me of a letter from a Redhill lady sent at the end of WW2 to an overseas friend. The letter gives us an insight into how this lady was feeling at the time as the nation celebrated the end of war.
