Radio Wey Sunday 18th May

I was browsing through Facebook on a lazy Sunday morning when I noticed one of my friends had shared a page called "For Sam". I was interested  by this so had a look. The page was set up by Nicky Smeadly for her Nephew Sam Amess. Sam who is 12 years of age has recently been told he has a tumor on his liver. Described as a "Brave Warrior" by his Auntie, Sam spoke to me about himself and his family and how he is coping with a grueling course of chemotherapy. I then spoke to Nicky who explained the Facebook page has gone viral in just one week over 6 thousand likes and comments from across the world. People who don't event know Sam wishing him well. This was the first ever radio interview that Sam has done, and he was a brilliant guest. Such an inspiration!  Sam enjoyed a whole hour of his favorite songs played for him on Radio Wey, and I got to say Sam has a brilliant taste in music!
