After moving to Dorset following the death of her husband, singer songwriter Linda Lamon moved into PRS sponsored accommodation and found herself living alongside former pop stars. It was her developing friendship with these that resulted in the inspiration to write ‘Real Love’ and eventually gave her the confidence to record and release her debut album ‘About Time’…all at the age of 70!

I Spoke to Lexy from Horsell who is taking part in a fundrasier for The Samaritans. Lexy is hoping to raise £1000 for the charity by walking 50 miles in October. Lecxy told me about the challenge and the vital work of the Samaritans, a charity which Lexy volunteers for her self.
