I spoke to Mark James who is a Grimsby fan living in Maidenhead. Mark told me of the beautifully inclusive experience  recently when taking his 3 year old son George who has Autism to his first ever football match.

As the 2021 Poppy Appeal in Woking launches I spoke to John Stoker who organises the appeal. He told me why it is important to remember those who served our country and gave their lives for our freedom. We also discussed  how the community can get involved and volunteer with this years appeal.

Matt and I spoke to Oliver Dupuy about the fundraiser for 11 year old George Baily.  Following a life changing accident at home earlier this year George was left with a brain injury and after 14 weeks at St Georges Hospital, (three of them in intensive chare) George is currently at a specialist rehabilitation unit at the Children's Trust in Tadworth.  A fundraiser has been set up to Bring George home to his family in Camberley and it has been very well supported with a massive sum raised for adaptations to Georges house and his on going support when he does come home.

Twelve year old Marikit Akiwumi plays Katie in  The school of Rock. Marikit lives in Guildford. . I had a chat with Marikit as she makes her professional debut on this production tour which comes to Woking from Tuesday 28th September.
