Refill to save the world

ST MARYS CHURCH IN THE VILLAGE HAS SECURED A DONATION OF SAPLINGS AS PART OF A SCHEME FROM THE WOODLAND TRUST.
 
THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO HELP WITH PLANTING THE TREES LATER THIS MONTH.

RAIL TO BRING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE  RAIL NETWORK THROUGH SURREY.   COUNTY COUNCILLOR WILL FORSTER RECENTLY SPOKE  TO ME ON  RADIO WOKING WITH HIS THOUGHTS  ON THIS INVESTMENT, THE BENEFITS IT WILL BRING TO THE RAILWAY, AND ALSO TO WOKING AS A TOWN.

Poppy Appeal 2018

Children's mental health has hit the headlines again with the news that the Child and adolescent  mental Health service is struggling to meet growing demand. It has been reported that children are not getting access to mental health professionals in many cases until they are high risk.
 
Sheree McGregor is a practitioner with local childrens health and well being chairty The Sunflower Trust. Sheree explains how Sunflower can help support young people  with mental health problems and their familes.

Hoe Valley school traffic lights concerns
