It's the highlight of Walton on Thames' calender. The festival of light is a day long festive celebration which climaxes with the parade and christmas light switch on. There were two stages at the event. I was part of the Radio Wey team on the high street stage where local groups, and acts were showcasing their talents for the crowd. I spoke to the ladies from Raise the Curtain, (music and theatre arts group)and David Lowe who is part of the Elmbridge Youth Theatre.

I went along to Chertsey museum to find out about their new exibition celebrating all thats great about tea. Emma Warren tells me more about the exibition that is on display until the end of December.
Chertsey museum is open Tuesday to Saturday and can be found on Windsor Street.
Admission is free.

This is a database for vulnerable adults and can enable police or emergency services to access information about person who may find it hard to communicate themselves.
