I spoke to the Donny family who were seated in the sunshine on a special bench in memory of members of their family who passed away. The bench was previously located at the site of the new statue and as a result was relocated to a new spot by the river.

Foreign Secretary and local MP Mr Philip Hammond was among the dignitary's present at the unveiling of a special statute of the Queen in Egham. The statue marks the 800th anniversary of Manga Carta which was sealed in Runnymede in 1215. It is also likely to the the latest statue of Hr Majesty when the queen breaks the record for the longest reining Monarch in September Mr Hammond told me about the statue and the legacy of Manga Carta in the 21st century.
