BRUNCHTIME BREAKFAST SHOW
18TH NOVEMBER 2013
Aziatics opened their first shop from a prevoiusly run down green groocers in Sheperton in 2007.
Six years later and I spoke to Pete Wheeldon as he was manning the second shop on its first
Monday of trading in Addlestone.
Aziatics is I am told a type of lilly,
(the spelling changed to make it unique, and handy for the phone book!)
Pete told me how the retailer embaraces the local community and supports local
growers and producers.
Can a small independent reatailer compete in a world of 24 hour supermarkets?

Brunchtime Breakfast Show
Monday 18 Novemeber 2013
On Mondays Brunchtime Breakfast I spoke to Waste Warrior Susan.
Waste Warriors isn a school campaign aiming to tackle food waste.
One area the group is looking at is to lobby supermarkets to stock wonkey veg
at reduced prices.
They hope this will cut waste and allow the poorer section of society to have their 5 a day.
