Its been a part off chertsey for 127 years until late last year.
Ron Taylor shut up shop at Ethel Taylors greengrocers on Christmas eve . The shop has served the local community for generations and has now sadly become a victim of the economic downturn. . The empty shop is now being gutted and turned into a salon.
Gail Naylor popped in to see Ron at the shop last year soon after the closure was announced.

Saturday night is Karaoke night at The Half Moon High Wycombe. Am I nuts talking the weekly road trip up the M25 and M40 in my Hyundai for Karaoke? Well maybe, but its worth it! Paul and Dawn put on a great night entertainment for us punters, The locals are freindly and theres a chance to win cash with the Shoot for the Moon Lotto with Landlord/Draw Master Alan who also sings as well.
I don't claim to have a good voice but thats not the point of Karaoke. The idea is to get up there and have fun. I'm now known as "Party Jon" beause I sing the songs that get the crowd going, Yes I sing stuff like Billie Pipers "Beacuase We Want to" and a few Beatles numbers. I am most well known for my attempts at Witch Doctor. Yes the old classic covered by the Cartoons in 1998 and now brought back to life by yours truely!
For your ears only and your pleasure I have decided to add a recording of me in all my singing glory. Sorry about the crackly sound but it was recorded on my I phone (which was in my pocket)using Pocket Wave Pad. (free from the App Store!)
Enjoy and be kind with your coments :-)
