SUNDAY 29 JUNE
With the heat wave upon us there is a surge in demand for cheap mini fans, and this demand looks set to increase. We have heard of fast fashion and its impact, but it seems the surge in fast tech items is leading to some worrying statistics as we use these in the moment events like heat waves to purchase items without thinking sustainably.
I spoke to consumer behaviour psychologist Prof Catherine Jansson Boyd and Andrea Cheong, podcast host and sustainable fashion advocate to discuss this further.

I spoke to Dr Neil Buttery, food author and Podcaster, to look at the changing trends when it comes to breakfast. New research from Lizi's cereals lift the lid on our morning preferences, and how we are factoring in convenience and trying to make breakfast healthier. Could this spell bad news for the full English fry up?

On my Breakfast show, as many of us were pondering what to eat to start the day, Nathan Cripps from Wey Valley House Care Home in Farnham joined me to offer food suggestions that probably wont make it to most of our tables let alone our mouths!. its all part of an I'm a Celeb inspired fundraiser where staff will be eating creepy crawlies and other delights but all in a good cause. The aim is to raise £250 for a magician to come into the home and entertain the residents.
We hear all about life at Wey Valley House and the charity The Abbyfield Wey Valley Society.
