Susy Pucket from Leatherhead Theatre joined me to talk about her book "Message in a Bottle" which is a  pirate adventure raising  fundraiser for the theatre and comes out of a stage show created for the Mole Valley Arts Alive Festival. We also spoke about the Theatre's Panto and the opportunities available for young people through the Theatre Academy

Carol Singing for Horsell

The festive spirit was flowing freely in Horsell as the community came together to visit those in the community who may find it hard to get out. We brought carols and the festive cheer to their door steps. I spoke to John Dunsford, a teacher at the junior  school in Horsell who helped put the carolling together alongside local resident  Emma.

National Pantomime Day

On National Pantomime Day (12th December) Ann and I from the cast of Sleeping Beauty with RATs Addlestone took to the streets to hear panto stories and memories and why pantos are so special.

Your Sanctuary - 16 Days of Activism

Fiamma Pather CEO of Woking based charity Your Sanctuary joined me to discuss their partnership with Woking Borough Council and the National 16 Days of Activism campaign. An art contest was held and the winning piece by  a survivor of Domestic Abuse has been displayed around Woking in prominent locations to emphasize the message that you are not alone. There have also been hand written cards from survivors that have been put in safe spaces around the community.

Bramble Way lights 2025

Caroline from Bramble Way in Send  Marsh joined me to talk about the street's festive lights which are an annual fixture in the community. This year the lights are supporting The Fountain Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. This is a charity close to the heart of residents with one neighbour and their family receiving support from the charity themselves.
