Stephen told us about their latest fundraising campaign encouraging local people to hold a coffee event to raise awareness and money to support the work of the charity. The Knaphill, St John’s, Brookwood Volunteers Support Group was started by local resident Sonal Sher as news of the COVID-19 outbreak spread across the world, with national lockdowns. Sonal came to see us in the Radio Woking studio to tell us about the journey through the pandemic and looking the the future and how volunteering will look locally as restrictions ease.
