WEDNESDAY 1ST NOVEMEBER 2017
Trudi Fletcher from Brookwood joined me on Radio Woking Breakfast on the first day of her food bank campaign. This is the 2nd year Trudi has done this after the huge success of last year's appeal
Trudi told me why she was inspired to do this after seeing first hand how poverty can ruin lives and is something that could happen to any of us at any time.
You can get involved in this by donating non perishable items which Trudi will distribute to the food bank at Woking's Light Box, helping to bring festive cheer to those who are less fortunate in our community. You can also donate toys and similar items to ensure little ones are looked after too in the run up to Christmas.
Items can be dropped off at Bakers Dozen and the Brookwood Club until 7th December
