We met at a community coking event where Dee was demonstrating traditional food associated with Diwali.  The event was organised by Mascot Hub  as part of the Cardiac  project worked on by Dr Jasmine Kapor, one of 5 sessions funded  Public Health Surrey.

Beverley Magowan and her son Noah joined me in the studio. Beverley, who is a nurse  the Evelina London children's Hospital, told us about  her recent  fundraising challenge which involved her abseiling down the side of St Thomas' hospital in a crab costume. This was in honour of her ward, the Beach ward at Evelina. We also heard about the work they do with young people who need transplants and dialysis.
